I'm Back.... Finally!!

Hello! I have been super, I mean, SUPER busy with my two girls and working on some Nativity items for a boutique/convention that my friend invited me to sell things with her this week. I love to do things that take me out of my crafting comfort zone, and this was just the project to help me with that! And, I did get a new cartridge, Paper Doll Dress Up, so that helps too. I want to thank Missy and Jill for their hours and hours of help and their ideas they were willing to share with me. I couldn't have done this without you!! After all was said and done, I had 192 cards and tags to sell and I hope buyers like them as much as I did. It was such a fun project and I'm truly inspired to get more crafting done! Thanks so much for visiting, and I apologize a thousand times over for my complete lack of posting. I won't let that happen again!!

Room Decor with My Cricut

I do apologize for the months that have passed that I haven't posted anything! This pregnancy has been rough and having a three and a half year old has not helped! Anyway... We have set up the new baby's nursery in my old craft room and my darling husband let me keep it orange! Two shades of orange. He's the best.

We found the most adorable bedding, that has pink and the perfect shades of orange with a hint of chocolate brown with such cute animals on it. We bought a wall decoration to match, and he told me I should cut some animals to frame to go along with the decoration. How could I resist!? I went crazy trying to think of the perfect animals. Her bedding has koalas, zebras, hippos and elephants, so I didn't want too many animals that didn't match. I went with a giraffe and a monkey. I had just purchased the Animal Kingdom cartridge and discovered that the monkey on there is just the cutest ever. I had to use him! The giraffe is from Zooballoo and I have to admit that she is my favorite of the two. Slowly but surely, we're getting ready for this baby! Only 5 weeks left!

Thanks for visiting.

Mother's Day Cards

I have the cutest friend that loves to do crafts almost as much as I do, and I thought it might be fun to make some Mom's day cards with her. I cut all the elements and put little kits together so that we'd just have to glue them at our leisure. It was a breeze and we got 4 cards each done. It was a great time, so thanks Court!

Cards, Cards, Cards!

I do apologize for the huge delay in posting my creations. This pregnancy has taken over! I was busily working on a set of 50 cards for a dear friend of mine along with a card box so she could always have somewhere to put them. It was for her birthday, and I just delivered it. HOORAY! She loved it and couldn't wait to show her daughter in law. I love a gift of time and this one definitely had a lot of time put into it. But it was so worth it! The collection was of All Occasion, Baby, Birthday, Holiday and Thank You. I think my favorites were the Thank You and the All Occasion, but I really did love them all.

This is the box open. I had to decorate the inside of course!

This is the top of the box.
This is the inside with all 50 cards jammed in.
I love this card. It was inspired by Julie H's from the Cricut Messageboard. Thanks Julie!

Happy New Year! And Shelby's New Shirt!

Although I have not felt too crafty these past few weeks, I was able to help my husband design a shirt for our 3 year old daughter to wear to announce our pregnancy! I of course had to use the cartridge All Mixed Up because it is such a cute font, and no one really seems to use it much! We had her wear it on New Year's Eve, and the older partiers didn't catch it the first time, but my cute SIL caught on and had everyone look at it again. We are so excited, and I think we should make more shirts with my Cricut and an airbrush!
