End of Year Teacher Gifts

Hello Friends!

Today I wanted to show you the End of Year Teacher Gifts my daughters and I made for their cute teachers.  It's so hard to believe I'm going to have a Second Grader and a Fifth Grader!  They really need to slow down on this growing up business!

I have wanted to do a little gift basket for their teachers that wouldn't be too spendy, but would look cute.  Enter, an ice cream care package where they only have to add the ice cream!  My little one was SO excited to give this to her teacher.  I had to use my Cricut Explore to make the tag and my little poem was just the perfect touch and my oldest daughter said it said everything she could want to say to her teacher, so she just said "From, Shelby".  HA!  She cracks me right up.  Her teacher had planned a root beer float party for his class and forgot a scoop!  So glad we gave him one!   Thank you for visiting today!

Mother's Day for a Dog Mom!

Hey There!

My SIL adopted the cutest little puppy I've ever seen and I'm truly smitten!  Mother's Day was coming up and I thought we should at least give her a gift card to Petco because that Ella is the cutest puppy!  And wow is she full of energy, too!  I was trying my best to design a cute gift card holder with my Cricut and only have one dog on it, but as I got into it, we needed to have all sides of Ella that we could.  I used a white gel pen to add the fluffy fur to the silhouette images and I had a cute little gift card holder and I was super excited to give it to my SIL.  That dog has added so much to our family and my girls cannot get enough of her!  Thank you for visiting today!

A Teacher Appreciation Gift

I love Teacher Appreciation Week!  It's my favorite time of year, and our school each year sends home a little list of things we can do for the teachers each day of the week.  A thank you note, a treat, a chore, etc.  It really is a great time!  My little one gets into it BIG!  She wanted to get her cute teacher a notebook, some pens that matched and some dry erase markers.  Done, and done!  I of course had to make a silly tag for the girls to sign.  I had my Cricut Explore write the lines on the tag in the bluebonnet pen from the Wildflower Collection and then it wrote the "Just Write" sentiment in black pen.  Done!  I was in a rush and just had to tie it super quick but it worked out and my little first grader couldn't wait to give it to Ms. Chesnek!
