For my project, I used the super cute Autumn Blooms Stamp Set to make these tags. There are coordinating dies for this set, but I ended up not using them. The flowers and leaves are so easy to use and I can see many more tag ideas with them.
Here's what you need to make this set:
Adhesive:
Glue Dots® Permanent Tape Runner
Materials:
Pretty Pink Posh Autumn Blooms Acrylic Stamp Set
VersaMark Watermark Stamp Ink
Recollections Detail Embossing Powder in Gold
Coffee Filters
Small Clear Adhesive Bag
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers in 5 Coordinating Colors:
No. 260 Deep Red
No. 060 Brown
No. 067 Mustard
No. 022 Carmine Red
No. 043 Olive Green
Water Brush
6 Die cut tags with a shadow at 3.00" Tall. I used my Cricut Explore to cut my tags
Twine in brown
Baby wipes/or stamp cleaner
Scratch Paper
Self Adhesive Gems
Craft Mat
Tools:
Mini MISTI
Scissors
Tweezers
Heat Tool for embossing
1/8" Hole Punch
Directions:
Step 1:
With the Mini MISTI, put one tag in to begin stamping. I was able to fit 3 stamps on one tag. Stamp with the VersaMark. Add some Gold Embossing Powder to the image and heat set it. Use the tweezers to hold it in place so you don't burn your fingers!
Step 2:
With a Zig Brush, run some color around the flower and use the water brush to spread the color. Follow the same steps for the leaves.
Step 3:
With the same color you colored your flower, run a line around the outer edges of the tag and use the water brush to bring the color inward. Use the tweezers to hold this piece while you run the heat tool over it again to speed up the drying.
Step 4:
Use Glue Dots® Tape Runner to glue the colored tag to the shadow.
Step 5:
With the 1/8" hole punch, punch through the colored piece and the shadow. Run some twine through the hole and tie it off to make the tag. Use the scissors to trim the twine evenly.
Once your tags are all assembled, place them in the clear bag and you're ready to give them to a friend, or save them and use them yourself!
Special thanks to Pretty Pink Posh and Glue Dots for this awesome collaboration! These stamps were so much fun to use and even more fun to color!
